Several weeks ago, I mentioned in a sermon the opening of the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, AL. Any verbal picture drawing just cannot do it justice and certainly, that was the case in my reference to it some Sundays back. Here is a picture of what I feebly tried to express then and a wonderful article that gives you a better understanding of its mission and history. It is an incredible monument to a dark season of our national history that can only be overcome by our full attention to its evil and awful place in our national memory.
