The COVID pandemic and multiple cultural disruptions have shaken the world from its moorings and now, more than at any other time, people are rethinking and asking new questions concerning their faith, values, behaviors, and assumptions. Coming on the heels of a very successful Lenten book study, the Greendale Ecumenical Fellowship is inviting you to a group reading of the highly touted and timely book, White Fragility: Why It’s so hard for White People to Talk About Race by Robin Diangelo. Diangelo unapologetically explores the muted world and defensive moves that white people make when challenged racially. Come and be a part of the discussion! This is offered in six Zoom sessions held on Tuesday evenings at seven o’clock beginning June 8, 2021 through July 13, 2021. We look forward to being together.
