We tend to think of Jesus’ passion as the events of the cross and resurrection, or, Holy Week and Holy Week truncated down to just four days (Maundy-Thursday through Easter). But Jesus’ passion was also those values and issues that he felt passionate about. Join us for a bible study that follows the daily movements of Jesus through the entirety of Holy Week (Palm Sunday – Easter). Only the gospel of Mark provides a daily schedule of Jesus’ movements and investments. Following Marcus Borg & John Dominic Crossan’s book, The Last Week: What the Gospels Really Teach about Jesus’ Final Days in Jerusalem, we will seek to discover those things about which Jesus was most passionate.
