CHRISTMAS EVE AT SALEM – 5 PM candlelight

with No Comments

Christmas Eve is a magical event at Salem. The purpose of the service is to gather worshipers around the newness found in the gift of the Christ child. With our yearly theme of “Learning to Love” there is no lack of love expressed between those gathered and the divine love so palatable in the sanctuary. It is an evening of singing the carols, hearing the story again, enjoying the fellowship and love of God. This year, as in years past, our Christmas Eve service will be at 5:00 pm. It is intended to be a family service from newborns to those well into their senior years – all are most welcome. The evening always closes with the candlelight singing of Silent Night. Plan now to be with us on December 24 at 5:00 PM.
