Worcester Interfaith is pleased to offer The Clemente Course in the Humanities beginning on September 27th. The Course, now entering its third year, is a unique program of free, college-level seminars in literature, U.S. history, moral philosophy,art history, and writing for low income adults.
Classes will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm for eight months at the Worcester Art Museum. Books, transportation, and childcare are provided. Faculty members are experienced college faculty, skilled at working with non-traditional learners.
Bard College, which oversees the program nationally, grants a certificate of achievement to all students who finish the course and six college credits to those who complete it at a high level of academic performance.
