WE ARE STARTING A NEW BOOK CLUB!

Beginning Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 10:30 am onsite at Briarwood Elms Library. Then on Wednesday at 7:00 pm on Zoom, we will begin our new book clubs exploring the gospel narratives telling the story of Jesus’ life and ministry. 

Join us in this unique reading of the New Testament. The Immerse Bible Study Series in tandem with Make and Deepen Disciples of the Evangelical Covenant Church comes with its own Reading Bible, which presents each book of the Bible without the distractions of chapter and verse markers, subject headers, or footnotes – all later historical additions to the text. Every feature in this unique Bible enhances the opportunity for readers to engage with God’s words in simple clarity. An 8- week reading plan divides scripture into easily accomplished reading goals. The group then joins into lively conversation looking at four simple questions:
What stood out to you this week?
Was there anything confusing or troubling?
Did anything make you think differently about God?
How might this change the way we live?
