Our first Lenten Fellowship Dinner was an incredible event. After a wonderful meal together, we welcomed Val Fisk to speak and educate all of us on immigration issues. Val is a daughter of Salem and is currently one of the lead attorneys at Community Legal Services and Counseling Center, Inc. Val has given her entire career to immigration, a career that now spends almost thirty years. Val provided a wealth of information, clarified lots of misunderstandings, and provided some provocative ideas for going forward.
