Our Stewardship Campaign has taken shape with four Stewardship Dessert locations and times available for people to consider. The purpose of these desserts is four-fold: 1) To share a growing vision for Salem Covenant Church and the workings of the Leadership Team in guiding our community forward in mission and ministry. 2) Explore what resources (gifts, skills, time, and financial resources) will be needed to turn our aspirational goals into achievable celebrations. 3) Invite families and individuals to embrace the vision and support the ministry we feel called to. 4) Enjoy a time of fellowship to deepen our relationships off-site from our church campus and in our homes.
The four host homes and times are as follows:
- Robin and Mark Nilson’s, 4 Black Hill Rd. Paxton, MA 01612
Sunday, November 27 at 3:30 pm. - Briarwood Retirement Center (Elms Building, first-floor library) 70 Briarwood Circle, Worcester, MA 01606
Thursday, December 1 at 2:30 pm. - Sue and Ross Scott’s, 2 Fifth Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA 01545
Friday, December 2 at 6:30 pm. - TBD (This will host the Millbury, Grafton, Auburn regions)
People will receive an email indicating which regional host home they have been assigned. If you do not receive an email or if you are unable to attend your gathering due to a scheduling, feel free to join another gathering. Simply write your name under the desired host, location, and time. These sigh-up posters will be in the narthex outside of the sanctuary. You can also call the office 508.853.4071 to indicate your decision.
It is our desire to reach everyone connected to Salem and the “new narrative” that is being written by the Holy Spirit.
