The Ecumenical Discussion Group resumes in 2025! We begin with conversations concerning the life and times of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. It’s a name we hear tossed around these days where a return to far-right politicians and “strongmen” candidates are sought after worldwide. Bonhoeffer was a Lutheran pastor and theologian who stood up to the Nazi regime during WWII. His involvement in the resistance movement would land him in jail, and he was eventually hanged by the SS forces only weeks before the end of the war. This is a Zoom-driven gathering and will incorporate film, literature, and above all our conversations. Our gatherings will take place on Tuesday evenings @ 7 PM. We will begin on February 4, 2025.
