next to normal cover photo copy Next to Normal is the chosen play for this spring’s offering of Studio Theatre Worcester at Salem Covenant.
June is theatre month at church as the play begins to take shape and form with the building of the set to special rehearsals followed by two weekends of performances. Next to Normal is an especially important work for today in that it deals with mental health and one family’s negotiation of life with a mentally ill family member. The musical is the winner of several Toni Awards and a Pulitzer Prize for best script. All Salem members are invited to attend any of the performances for free. Here are the showtimes:
