Saturday, April 29th was the inauguration and ribbon cutting ceremony of Dell’s Edible Creations. Savior (Dela) Adiakpor created DEC two years ago and has been marketing his plan ever since.  The genesis of the idea came to him while living in Italy and reflecting on the beautiful flowers that adorned the country and many businesses throughout the land. Substituting fruit for flowers, Savior has become an artist in fruit arrangements for any setting or gathering. Just about a year ago, Savior approached Salem to consider renting the kitchen for this fast developing endeavor. Since then, Dell’s Edible Creations has grown significantly and is even included in the offerings of 1 800 Flowers. While being Savior’s main source of income, the profits of the company support an orphanage in Savior’s home village in Ghana. We look forward to a taste of his creations during Coffee Hour in the next few weeks.
